Meneladani Semangat Hidup dari Seorang Tukang Parkir
Panas
terik siang itu begitu membakar kawasan Sudiang, di halaman parkir
tepatnya naungan pohon ketapang Kantor Pos dan Giro Sudiang terlihat
seorang pria usia senja bertopi duduk berjaga mengamati kendaraan yang
keluar masuk di area halaman kantor tersebut. Raut wajahnya terlihat
sangat bersemangat meski hitam legam terbakar sinar matahari. Dengan
menggunakan rompi berwarna orange lengkap dengan logo kota Makassar-nya,
tak terlihat ada rasa letih ataupun lelah itulah Ruslan Naga (55),
seorang Bapak yang kesehariannya sejak pagi buta hingga menjelang malam
bekerja sebagai tukang parkir di area kantor pos dan giro, sudiang, Kota
Makassar.
Wajahnya begitu sedih dan trenyuh penuh
perasaan hingga meneteskan air matanya ketika saya mendatanginya lagi
duduk istirahat dibawah pohon rindang tempat istirahatnya duduk berjaga.
Ruslan begitu panggilan akrabnya di area kantor ini, “anak saya yang
bungsu itu mau sekali masuk di SMK Farmasi, butuh biaya tiga juta rupiah
inilah saya kerja keras karena bagaimanapun anak adalah paling penting
sekolahnya,” ujar Ruslan.
Dalam bulan puasa ini saya tak kenal rasa lelah, justru bulan
puasa inilah berkah banyak dan yang penting anak saya bisa sekolah
seperti kakaknya yang nomor dua. Semua anak saya sekarang masih dalam
tanggugan saya termasuk yang sulung meski sudah cerai dan punya anak
tetap saya tanggung semua. Istri saya sudah meninggal bulan desember
2015 lalu juga adalah bekas tukang parkir, karena sakit lalu ajal telah
menjemputnya, kini saya harus kuat untuk menafkahi anak-anak saya”,
imbuh Ruslan..
Ada yang tak biasanya dari seorang Bapak
tiga anak ini. Meski matanya yang kiri sudah terlihat rabun serta kedua
tangannya yang terlihat cacat terbungkus dengan kain, tetapi semangat
hidupnya dalam bekerja mencari nafkah buat anak-anaknya tak bisa
dianggap sepele. Ia menjalani pekerjaanya menjadi tukang parkir sudah 22
tahun lamanya demi kelangsungan hidup dan menyekolahkan semua
anak-anaknya.
Bekerja sebagai tukang parkir adalah
sudah nasibnya, meski begitu ia selalu bersyukur dan penuh semangat
menjalaninya. Biasanya menjelang magrib, langit senja mulai terlihat
gelap Ruslan bergegas menuju pulang. Ia tinggal di Jalan Daeng Tata arah
selatan Kota Makassar.
Soal pendapatan yang ia
peroleh, “Dalam satu hari saya bisa dapat 60 ribu bersih, kalau yang
disetor ke pemda sekitar 250 ribu, meski itu terbilang minim, namun ada
saja lebihnya”. Seperti khusun parkir mobil adalah 2 ribu terkadang ada
yang kasih 5 ribu sedangkan sepeda motor ada yang kasih 1000 rupiah dan
sesuai karcis,”. Pikir-pikir maki”, Dengan penghasilan yang kecil itu
saya harus banting tulang menghidupi tiga orang anak dan dua orang cucu.
Hanya ketabahan dan ketegaran serta penuh rasa syukur yang selalu
kuatkan saya, itu ji modal hidupku,” ujar Ruslan.
Demikianlah
sebuah motivasi kehidupan seorang tukang parkir yakni Ruslan Naga.
Dengan segala keterbatasan yang ia miliki dengan cacat kedua tangannya
namun antusiasme dan serta karakternya yang penuh semangat ia bekerja
tanpa kenal lelah demi anak-anaknya yang masih butuh biaya sekolah dan
lain-lain agar bisa menjadi keteladanan di negeri kita. “Sejatinya
apapun asalnya, pangkat dan kedudukannya, golongan serta kelasnya,
manusia tidak akan pernah merasa puas secara lahir dan batin jika diri
